How did you start racing?
Racing has always been big in my family. I was around or working on race cars in my youth, which grew into drag racing as a teenager, up to today, 3rd part owner of Lunatic Racing LLC. We race custom built UTV offroad vehicles.
What is your favorite car to race?
I am a die hard Can-Am maniac & drive my custom AWD CAN-AM X3 XRS Compound Turbo car
What is your favorite track?
Durhamtown offroad park turbo track
Best track day experience?
AMP Motorsports Park in Dawsonville Ga!

Advice for newcomers?
Have patience, no one is born with racing skills. Take advise from the fast guys not the slow ones.
Tell us about you?
My name is Shawn Ashmore, I am one of the owners & driver of Lunatic Racing LLC!
We are a side by side/UTV race team deprived of 14 racers. We race offroad tracks & on road tracks. We also perform in side acts for Monster trucks shows & other events.
Outside of racing, we custom build the cars we drive, from chassis to custom turbocharged engine builds.
Final Thoughts:
You can have all the horsepower in the world, but at the end of the day, you still have to drive it!
